چکیده
In this paper, we introduce and study degenerate state-dependent sweeping processes with nonregular moving sets (subsmooth positively $$\alpha $$ -far). Based on the Moreau–Yosida regularization, prove existence of solutions under Lipschitzianity respect to truncated Hausdorff distance.

Existence of Solutions for Degenerate Sweeping Processes
In this paper, the existence of solutions to a class of non-standard sweeping processes of the form ?u 0 (t) 2 @ C(t) (Au(t)) is established. In contrast to the \classical" sweeping process with A = id, these problems may be degenerated, since there might be no solutions at all.

(1.2) C(t, u) ⊂ H is nonempty, closed, and convex for t ∈ [0, T ], u ∈ H. In (1.1), NC(t,u)(x) denotes the normal cone to C(t, u) at x ∈ C(t, u), cf. Section 2 below. We will treat the case of (t, u) 7→ C(t, u) being Lipschitz continuous w.r. to the Hausdorff distance dH with constants L1, L2 ≥ 0, i.e., we require (1.3) dH(C(t, u), C(s, v)) ≤ L1|t− s|+ L2|u− v|, t, s ∈ [0, T ], u, v ∈ H. Note t...
متن کاملReduction of state dependent sweeping process to unconstrained differential inclusion
In this articlewe discuss the differential inclusion known as state dependent sweeping process for a class of prox-regular non-convex sets.We associate with any state dependent sweeping process with such sets an unconstraint differential inclusion whose any solution is a solution of the state sweeping process too. We prove a theorem on the existence of a global solution of nonconvex state depen...
متن کاملPreprocessing and Regularization for Degenerate Semidefinite Programs
This paper presents a backward stable preprocessing technique for (nearly) ill-posed semidef5 inite programming, SDP, problems, i.e., programs for which the Slater constraint qualification, 6 existence of strictly feasible points, (nearly) fails. 7 Current popular algorithms for semidefinite programming rely on primal-dual interior-point, 8 p-d i-p methods. These algorithms require the Slater c...
متن کاملEpidemic Processes over Adaptive State-Dependent Networks
In this paper we study the dynamics of epidemic processes taking place in adaptive networks of arbitrary topology. We focus our study on the adaptive susceptible-infected-susceptible (ASIS) model, where healthy individuals are allowed to temporarily cut edges connecting them to infected nodes in order to prevent the spread of the infection. In this paper we derive a closed-form expression for a...
